Bend refers to the buttock area of the hide.
This belt uses a thick, dense, and truly excellent part of the leather.
Naturally, it will age beautifully with use.
The other day, I was telling a customer about Tochigi Leather belts.
There's a tannery called Tochigi Leather... and so on and so forth.
They have pit tanks where they soak the leather... and so on and so forth.
It's vegetable-tanned leather, so it's excellent quality!
I'm sure if you're hearing this explanation for the first time, it might not sink in, right? (laughs)
