【HORSE HIDE】Manufactured by Shinki Hikaku
Using raw hides from Europe, the base material is completed through vegetable tanning.
Originally, for clothing applications such as flight jackets, the base material is carefully selected for its fabric content and size.
During dyeing, not only the surface but also the core is dyed mocha, and in the final finishing, the surface is finished with pigment for black and dye for brown, creating a stable color and lustrous texture throughout the leather. In the final process, a light揉み (momi) process gives it an indescribably pleasant feel and softness.
Its lightness, which cowhide does not possess, is also a characteristic.

Due to the nature of products using natural leather, there may be color variations between different leather batches and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be wrinkles (tora) and minor scratches from when the animal was alive, but these are considered within the range of individual differences.
Regarding size表記, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual size due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered within the acceptable range.
Since each item is produced by hand, unavoidable marks from sewing, machine marks, slight misalignment or fading of hot stamping are considered part of the manufacturing process and within the product specifications. Thank you for your understanding.
Metal parts such as brass and silver may change color over time. We polish them before shipping, but some discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, for items with processes such as燻し (smoking/antiquing), there will be individual differences in color.
Sand-cast products such as buckles, due to their hand-finished nature, will have unique shapes and textures even for identical parts.
