CHROMEXCEL (HORWEEN)
One of the most well-known leathers in the world, made from North American rawhide raised on vast ranches, generously infused with natural oils and chrome-tanned.
Because the rich oils penetrate deep into the core, it is thick yet also possesses a moderately soft feel.
For finishing, the naturally tanned base is dyed with a unique aniline hand-finish recipe, and the deep color of the surface reveals vibrant colors from within the leather when pulled.
The abundant oils also have the effect of blending in scratches that occur with use by wiping them with cream or oil.
Please note that due to the high oil content, the oil may whiten depending on the season.
This phenomenon occurs when the oil hardens and can be remedied by gently rubbing the surface with a cloth.

Due to the nature of products using natural leather, there may be color variations between leather batches and differences in texture depending on the part. Also, there may be areas with wrinkles (tora) or minor scratches from the animal's life, but these are considered within the range of individual variation.
Regarding size表記, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual product due to individual differences. A ±5mm deviation is considered within the acceptable range.
Each item is produced by hand, so slight pressure marks, sewing machine marks, faint misalignment, or smudging of foil stamping that may occur during the sewing process are unavoidable and considered within the product specifications. Thank you for your understanding.
Metal parts made of brass, silver, etc., may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items with smoked or other special finishes will have individual color variations.
Sand-cast products such as buckles, being hand-finished, will have unique shapes and textures for each part.
