CHROMEXCEL (HORWEEN) is one of the most famous leathers in the world, made from North American rawhide raised on vast estates, richly impregnated with natural oils, and chrome-tanned. Because it contains abundant oil deeply permeated to the core, it is thick yet also possesses a moderate softness. For the finishing, the naturally tanned base is dyed with an aniline hand finish using a unique recipe, and the deep color of the surface can reveal a vivid color from deep within the leather when pulled. In addition, the rich oil content has the effect of blending in scratches that occur with use by wiping them with cream or oil. Please note that due to the high oil content, oil may bloom in certain seasons. This is a phenomenon caused by the oil solidifying and can be resolved by gently rubbing the surface with a cloth.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. In addition, there may be wrinkles (streaks) or minor scratches from the animal's life, but these are considered within the range of individual variation.
Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies from the indicated size due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered acceptable.
Each item is produced by hand, so slight indentations, sewing machine marks, or minor misalignments or blurring of foil stamping that occur during sewing are unavoidable in the manufacturing process and are considered within the scope of the product's specifications. Parts made of metal such as brass or silver may change color over time due to aging. We will polish them before shipping, but some discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items with processes such as antiquing will have individual differences in color.
Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are finished by hand, will have variations in shape and texture even for the same part.
