【HORSE HIDE】
This horsehide uses raw European hides, which are vegetable-tanned to create the base leather.
Originally, the base leather was carefully selected for its texture and size for garment use, such as flight jackets.
During dyeing, not only the surface but also the core is dyed mocha, and in the final finishing process, the surface is pigment-finished to give the entire leather a stable color and glossy texture. In the final step, a light揉み (momi, kneading) process is applied to create an indescribably pleasant feel and softness.Its lightness, which cowhide does not possess, is also a characteristic.

This leather is drum-tumbled to create a moderate grain and suppleness, making it more body-fitting and easier to handle compared to standard horsehide.

Due to the nature of products using natural leather, there may be color variations between different leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be areas with wrinkles (tora) or minor scratches from the animal's life, but these are considered within the range of individual differences mentioned above.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual product due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered within the acceptable range.

Since each item is produced by hand, dents, machine marks from sewing, slight misalignment, orかすれ (kasuri, blurring) of foil stamping that occur during the process are unavoidable and are considered within the product's specifications. We appreciate your understanding.

Metal parts made of brass, silver, etc., may change color over time due to aging. We will polish them before shipping, but slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items with processing such as antiquing may have individual differences in color.

Sand-cast products such as buckles are hand-finished, so each part may differ in shape and texture even if they are the same part.
