【UK SADDLE LEATHER】
The finest saddle leather from J&FJ Baker, a long-established British tannery. Using traditional tanning methods that have continued since Roman times, this leather is made from the hides of bulls born and raised in the local area, specifically for equestrian equipment, and is produced slowly over time, just as it was back then. Because the wax penetrates even the microscopic fibers of the leather, it is nearly twice as heavy as ordinary leather and boasts superior strength and water resistance. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools and the most suitable oils and greases for the leather. The leather is 5-5.5mm thick and is skived for use depending on the application. The appearance varies depending on the part of the hide; the rump is relatively smooth, while the shoulder has deep wrinkles. With use, it develops a richer luster, darker color, and improved leather quality.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between different leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. In addition, there may be wrinkles (marks from the animal's life) or minor scratches on some parts, but these are considered within the range of individual differences mentioned above.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies with the actual product due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered within the acceptable range.

Each item is produced by hand, so slight marks or machine stitch marks from sewing, or minor misalignments or fading in foil stamping are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process and are considered within specification. Thank you for your understanding.

Metal parts such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. We polish them before shipping, but some discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, for items with antiquing or other finishes, there may be individual differences in color for each item.

Sand-cast products such as buckles, being hand-finished, will have slight variations in shape and texture even among identical parts.
