【UK SADDLE LEATHER】
Premium saddle leather from J&FJ Baker, a long-established British tannery. Using traditional tanning methods that have continued since Roman times, they produce harness leather from bulls raised in the region, taking ample time just as they did in the past. Wax penetrates the fibers of the leather, making it nearly twice as heavy as ordinary leather and providing excellent strength and water resistance. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools, with oils and greases optimal for the leather. The leather thickness is about 5-5.5mm, and it is skived down depending on the application. The texture varies by part; the butt area is relatively smooth, while the shoulder area has deep wrinkles. With use, it develops more luster, darkens in color, and improves in character.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and texture differences depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be parts with wrinkles (streaks) from the animal's life or minor scratches, but these are considered within the range of individual variations.

Regarding size表記, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual product due to individual differences. A margin of error of ±5mm is considered acceptable.

Each item is produced by hand, so slight marks or machine traces from sewing, as well as minor misalignments or blurring in foil stamping, are unavoidable due to the production process and are considered within specifications. Thank you for your understanding.

Metal parts made of brass, silver, etc., may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items with treatments such as antiquing will have individual differences in color.

Sand-cast products such as buckles are hand-finished, so each part will have a unique shape and texture.
