【UK SADDLE LEATHER】
The finest saddle leather from J&FJ Baker, a long-established British tannery. Using traditional tanning methods that have continued since Roman times, this leather for horse tack is produced slowly over time, just as it was back then, using oxen born and raised in the region. Since wax penetrates deep into the fibers of the leather, it has almost double the weight of ordinary leather and boasts superior strength and water resistance. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools, with oils and greases best suited to the leather. The leather thickness is about 5-5.5mm, and it is thinned as needed for different uses. The expression of the leather varies by part; the butt area is relatively smooth, while the shoulder area has deep wrinkles. With use, it develops a deeper luster and color, enhancing its character.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be parts with wrinkles (scars) from when the animal was alive or minor scratches, but these are considered within the range of individual differences mentioned above.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual product due to individual differences. A ±5mm deviation will be considered within the acceptable range.

Each item is produced by hand, so slight indentations, sewing machine marks, and minor misalignments or blurring in foil stamping that occur during the sewing process are unavoidable and considered within the scope of the product's specifications. Thank you for your understanding.

Metal parts made of brass, silver, etc., may change color over time due to aging. Although we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Furthermore, products with treatments such as antiquing will also have individual differences in color for each item.

Sand-cast products such as buckles are hand-finished, so each part may have a different shape and texture even if they are the same.
