HORSE BUTT is manufactured by a tannery located in Santa Croce, Tuscany, Italy.
We use full vegetable-tanned bends (butt part) leather.
The surface treatment is precise, and it has a luxurious feel that belies its thickness. Over many years of use, it develops a delicate luster unique to horsebutt.
Since the raw hide comes from horses pastured freely, there are many natural wrinkles and scratches.

Due to the nature of products using natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part. Also, there may be parts with wrinkles (tiger stripes) or minor scratches from when the animal was alive, but these are considered within the range of individual differences.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies from the stated size due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered within the acceptable range.

Each item is handmade, so marks from sewing, machine marks, slight misalignment, or fading of foil stamping are unavoidable during the manufacturing process and are considered within the scope of the product's specifications. Thank you for your understanding.

Parts made of metal such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. We will polish them before shipping, but slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items that have undergone processing such as oxidization will have individual differences in color.

Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are finished by hand, will have unique shapes and textures for each part, even if they are the same.
