【HORSE HIDE】Using European raw hides from Shinki Hikaku, vegetable tanning is applied to create the base material.
Originally, the base material was carefully selected in terms of fabric content and size for use in clothing such as flight jackets.
During dyeing, not only the surface but also the core is dyed mocha, and in the final finishing, the surface of the black leather is finished with pigment, and the brown leather with dye, creating a stable color and glossy texture throughout the leather. In the final process, a light揉み (kneading) process gives it an indescribably soft touch and feel.
Its lightness, which is not found in cowhide, is also a characteristic.
【HORSE BUTT】
Similarly, European raw hides are used and subjected to vegetable tanning.
We use the horse buttock area (cordovan part), which is a rare part.
Using a base material that could not be completed as cordovan (due to deep scratches, etc.), we finish it to have the unique texture and natural surface wrinkles of horsehide that are not found in cowhide.
We select the thickest possible horse butt, and for dyeing, we intentionally leave it as-is with dye, so that the leather allows you to enjoy the aging unique to natural horsehide with frequent use.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. In addition, there may be parts with wrinkles (scars) or minor scratches from the animal's life, but these are considered to be within the range of individual differences mentioned above.
Regarding size notation, there may be a discrepancy from the stated size due to individual differences. A deviation of up to ±5mm is considered within the permissible range.
Each item is produced manually, so marks or machine marks from sewing, slight misalignment or fading of foil stamping are unavoidable due to the production process and are considered within the scope of the specifications. Please understand.
Parts made of metals such as brass and silver may change color over time. We will polish them before shipment, but some discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. In addition, for items with treatments such as antiquing, there may be individual differences in color.
Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are finished by hand, will have unique shapes and textures, even for identical parts.
