【HORSE HIDE】
We use European raw hides, which are vegetable-tanned to create the base.
The base material is carefully selected for its fabric content and size, originally for clothing applications such as flight jackets.
During dyeing, not only the surface but also the core is dyed mocha brown, and in the final finishing, the surface is pigment-finished to give the entire leather a stable color and a glossy texture. In the final step, a light揉み (momi) process gives it an indescribably soft touch.
Its lightness, which is not found in cowhide, is also a characteristic.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather batches and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be areas with wrinkles (known as "tora" or "tiger stripes") from the animal's life or minor scratches, but these are considered within the range of individual differences mentioned above.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual product due to individual differences. A deviation of up to ±5mm is considered acceptable.

As each item is handmade, slight marks or indentations from the sewing process, as well as minor deviations or fading in foil stamping, are unavoidable during production and are considered within the product's specifications. Thank you for your understanding.

Parts made of metals such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Furthermore, for items with oxidized or smoked finishes, there may be individual differences in color.

Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are hand-finished, will have unique shapes and textures for each individual part.

While we strive to adjust the published images to be as close as possible to the actual colors, the actual colors may appear different depending on the browser or display environment you are viewing them on.
