【HORSE HIDE】
Using raw hides from Europe, the base is completed through vegetable tannin tanning.
Originally, we use bases with carefully selected fabric content and size for clothing applications such as flight jackets.
During dyeing, not only the surface but also the core is dyed mocha, and in the final finish, the surface is finished with pigment for black and dye for brown, creating a stable color and lustrous texture throughout the leather. In the final process, a light揉み (momi) process gives it an indescribably pleasant feel and softness.
Its lightness, which cowhide does not possess, is also a feature.
【HORSE BUTT】
Similarly, raw hides from Europe are used and subjected to vegetable tannin tanning.
The rare horse butt part (cordovan part) is used.
Using a base that could not be completed as cordovan (due to deep scratches, etc.), it is finished to bring out the unique feel and natural wrinkles of horse leather that cowhide does not have.
We select the thickest possible horse butt, and for dyeing, we intentionally leave it as a dye-only finish, allowing the leather to develop the original aging of natural horse leather with frequent use.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part. Also, there may be parts with wrinkles (scars) or slight scratches from when the animal was alive, but these are considered to be within the range of individual differences mentioned above.
Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies between the listed size and the actual product due to individual differences. A margin of ±5mm will be considered acceptable.
Each item is produced by hand, so marks or machine traces from sewing, as well as slight misalignments or blurring of foil stamping, are unavoidable due to the production process and are considered within specifications. We appreciate your understanding.
Metal parts such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time of arrival. Also, for items with processing such as smoke finishing, there will be individual differences in color for each item.
Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are finished by hand, will have unique shapes and textures for each individual part.
