【HORSE HIDE】Using raw European hides from Shinki Hikaku, vegetable tanning is applied to create the base leather.
The base leather used is carefully selected for its texture and size, originally intended for garments such as flight jackets.
During dyeing, the leather is dyed mocca not only on the surface but also to the core. For the final finish, black is pigmented and brown is dyed, giving the entire leather a stable color and a glossy texture. The final process involves a light milling treatment to create an indescribable soft touch.
Its lightness, which is not found in cowhide, is also a characteristic.
【HORSE BUTT】
Similarly, raw European hides are used, and vegetable tanning is applied.
The rare part of the horse's buttocks (cordovan part) is used.
The base leather, which could not be completed as cordovan (due to deep scratches, etc.), is used to create a texture unique to horse leather, which is not found in cowhide, and a natural surface wrinkle.
We select the thickest possible horsebutt, and for dyeing, we intentionally leave it as-is with dye, allowing the leather to age beautifully over time, revealing the natural patina of horse nude.
※Please read carefully※
Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be wrinkles (streaks) or minor scratches from the animal's life, but these are considered within the range of individual differences mentioned above.
Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies from the stated dimensions due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered acceptable.
Each item is produced by hand, so slight marks or machine traces from sewing, and minor misalignment orかすれ in foil stamping are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process and are considered within specification. Please understand.
Metal parts such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items with processes such as smoking will have individual differences in color.
Sand-cast products such as buckles, being hand-finished, will have unique shapes and textures for each piece, even if they are the same part.
While we strive to adjust the posted images to be as close to the actual colors as possible, the actual colors may appear different depending on the browser or display environment you are viewing them on.
