【UK SADDLE LEATHER】
The finest saddle leather from J&FJ Baker, a long-established British tannery. Using a traditional tanning method that dates back to Roman times, the leather for equestrian equipment, made from steers raised and born in the region, is produced slowly over time, unchanged from those days. Because the wax has permeated even the microscopic fibers of the leather, it has almost twice the weight of ordinary leather and boasts excellent strength and water resistance. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools, with the optimal oil and grease for the leather. The leather is about 5-5.5mm thick and is thinned for use depending on the application. The appearance varies depending on the part; the butt area is relatively smooth, while the shoulder area has deep wrinkles. As it is used, its luster increases, its color deepens, and the leather's character improves.

*The original shackle is made by LOST WAX casting. LOST WAX is a casting method that uses a wax model as a base to create a cast. It is a more complex casting method than general casting methods and allows for the creation of shapes with higher dimensional accuracy.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather batches and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. In addition, there may be wrinkles (marks from the living animal) or minor scratches on some areas, but these are considered to be within the range of individual variation.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual size due to individual differences. A margin of ±5mm is considered acceptable.

Since each item is produced by hand, any marks or machine traces from sewing, slight misalignment or fading of foil stamping are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process and are considered within the product's specifications. Thank you for your understanding.

Metal parts such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, for items with smoking or other processing, there will be individual differences in color for each item.

Sand cast products such as buckles, being hand-finished, will have unique shapes and textures for each individual part, even if they are the same.
