HORSE BUTT manufactured by a tannery located in Santa Croce, Tuscany, Italy.
Uses full vegetable-tanned leather from the bend (buttock part).
The surface treatment is intricate, and the high quality of the leather belies its thickness. Over many years of use, it develops the delicate luster unique to horsebutt.
Because the raw hides are from horses raised free-range, there are many natural wrinkles and scratches.

Due to the nature of products using natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. In addition, there may be wrinkles (marks) and minor scratches from when the animal was alive, but these are considered within the range of individual differences.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies between the stated size and the actual size due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered within the acceptable range.

Each item is produced by hand, so marks or machine traces from sewing, as well as slight misalignment or fading of foil stamping, are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process and are considered within specification. Thank you for your understanding.

Metal parts made of brass, silver, etc., may change color due to aging. We will polish them before shipment, but some discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, for items that have undergone processes such as antiquing, there will be individual differences in color.

Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are finished by hand, will have variations in shape and texture even for identical parts.
