【UK SADDLE LEATHER】
The highest quality saddle leather from J&FJ Baker (Baker Co.), a long-established British tannery. Using traditional tanning methods that have continued since Roman times, this leather for horse tack, made from bulls born and raised in the area, is produced with the same careful, time-consuming process as in the past. Because wax penetrates deep into the fibers of the leather, it is almost double the weight of ordinary leather and boasts excellent strength and water resistance. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools, with oils and greases best suited to the leather. The leather is about 5-5.5mm thick, and is skived for use depending on the application. The appearance varies depending on the part of the hide; the butt area is relatively smooth, while the shoulder area has deep wrinkles. With use, it develops a deeper luster, darker color, and richer character.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. In addition, there may be wrinkles (marks from the animal's life) or minor scratches on some parts, but these are considered within the range of individual differences mentioned above.
Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies with the stated size due to individual differences. Errors of up to ±5mm are considered within the acceptable range.
Since each item is produced by hand, unavoidable marks from sewing, machine traces, slight misalignments or blurring of foil stamping during the process are considered within specifications. We ask for your understanding.
Parts made of metals such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. Although we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, items with processes such as smoking will have individual variations in color.
Sand-cast (sand mold) products such as buckles are hand-finished, so each part will have a different shape and texture even if they are the same.
While we adjust the published images to be as close to the actual color as possible, the actual color may appear different depending on the browser or display environment you are viewing them on.
