【UK SADDLE LEATHER】
This is the highest quality saddle leather from J&FJ Baker, a long-established British tannery. Using traditional tanning methods that have continued since Roman times, this leather for equestrian gear is produced from local bulls, with the same careful, time-consuming process as in the past. The wax permeates deep into the fibers of the leather, making it nearly double the weight of ordinary leather and giving it excellent strength and water resistance. All finishing is done by hand using traditional tools, with the most suitable oil and grease for the leather. The leather is about 5-5.5mm thick, and is thinned for use depending on the application. The appearance varies by part; the butt area is relatively smooth, while the shoulder area has deep wrinkles. With use, it develops a deeper luster, darker color, and richer texture.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, some areas may have wrinkles (known as "tora") or minor scratches that occurred during the animal's life; these are considered within the range of individual differences.

Each item is produced by hand, so slight dents or machine marks from sewing, as well as minor misalignments or fading in foil stamping, are unavoidable during the manufacturing process and are considered within specifications. We appreciate your understanding.

Metal parts such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Additionally, for items treated with antiquing or other processes, there may be individual differences in color for each item.

Sand cast products, such as buckles, are hand-finished, so each part may have a unique shape and texture even if they are the same.
