This horsebutt leather is made by a tannery in Santa Croce, Tuscany, Italy. It is a full vegetable-tanned leather from the bend (buttock area). The surface treatment is meticulous, giving it a high-quality feel that belies its thickness. With long-term use, it develops the delicate luster characteristic of horsebutt. Since the horses are pastured to run freely, there are many natural wrinkles and scratches. We appreciate your understanding of this point.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between leather batches and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide.
