【CHROMEXCEL LEATHER】
HORWEEN is a leather tanning manufacturer founded in Chicago, USA in 1905. For over 100 years, the leather tanned with their unchanged traditional methods is incomparably beautiful and delicate, yet also incredibly strong, giving it a unique presence.
HORWEEN boasts two famous types of leather: "Chromexcel Leather" and "Shell Cordovan." Shell Cordovan, in particular, is known in the leather industry as the "diamond of leather." Chromexcel Leather is a proprietary HORWEEN product made from cowhide selected using a method developed almost 100 years ago, tanned with a "combination tanning" method, and then infused with a special oil blend of at least four types of oils, including beef tallow, beeswax, vegetable oil, and fish oil.

Due to the nature of products made from natural leather, there may be color variations between different leather lots and differences in texture depending on the part of the hide. Additionally, there may be parts with wrinkles (scars) or minor scratches from the animal's life, but these are considered within the range of individual differences.

Regarding size notation, there may be discrepancies from the stated size due to individual differences. A margin of ±5mm is considered within the acceptable range.

Since each item is produced by hand, any marks or machine traces from sewing, or slight misalignment or fading of hot stamping are unavoidable due to the production process and are considered within the product specifications. We ask for your understanding.

Parts made of metals such as brass and silver may change color over time due to aging. While we polish them before shipping, slight discoloration may occur by the time they arrive. Also, for items that have undergone processing such as oxidization, there will be individual differences in color.

Sand-cast products such as buckles, which are finished by hand, will have unique shapes and textures even among identical parts.

While we adjust the published images to be as close to the actual colors as possible, the actual colors may appear different depending on the browser or display environment you are viewing them on.
